Schnapper’s Hots, opened on June 15, 1998. “Schnapper’s” draws it name from owner Vince Chlaramonte’s brother in-law, a Buffalo, New York legend known as “the Schnapper”. The Schnapper was a friendly, fun loving guy who was loved by many. When George “the Schnapper” passed away a few years ago Vince and his wife, Joan, decided to keep his memory alive, so they named the Hot Dog Stand after him.

General Manager, George Jr.Schnapp, strives to make Schnapper’s the kind of friendly and fun place
where customers love to visit, while experiencing the best quality dogs, burgers, fries,fish and chips,
and hand dipped ice cream.

 Schnapper’s prides themselves for having old fashioned butcher shop hot dogs with a natural casing that come by refrigerated truck from Buffalo, NY. Their burgers are made from “fresh daily ground beef”, hand-padded with your choice of Wisconsin Cheddar, Swiss or American cheese. Comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion. Served on a Fresh Baked French Burger Roll. And if your your mouth is not watering yet!!!, they have the best “Killer” Fries, that are homeade, fresh-cut Boardwalk fries. The only fries on the island recommended by the “Queen” 100% Pure Vegetable Oil (NO TRANS FAt). They also serve great, fresh dough, hand tossed, all fresh ingredients, Pizza. Six great pizzas to choose from or you can create your own. Check out their menu for more fabulous food to choose from.

While you wait, you are entertained by great music and can browse out all the cool pictures of famous movie stars and devoted patrons that have come to Schnappers year after and year and consider it to be their favorite place to visit while staying on Sanibel Island.
