At Big Arts there are many classes offered and today I took some time to sit in on the first class for making fused glass taught by Petra Kaiser. The possibilities are endless when working with glass. There are thousands of colors and shapes available so the only limit is ones imagination. I will check back in a few weeks to see how the students have progressed.

An amazing variety of creations can be produced in just five sessions of glass fusing including jewelry, bowls, plates, vases and sculptures using techniques such as kiln firing, mold making and designing. Students will also be working with the Kaiser Glass Flow System to make stringers and to cast glass. No special skills are required – just a willingness to express your creativity with a great material.
