Royal Shell Companies & Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce, Photographic Art Book by Alan S. Maltz, Chamber After Hours at Ellington’s Jazz Club and Restaurant

The Royal Shell Companies, in conjunction with the Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce, held their Chamber After Hours at Ellington’s Jazz Club and Restaurant. The event’s highlight, was the official introduction of a new photographic art book by Alan S. Maltz. A portion of the proceeds for  ”Visions of Beauty – Fort Myers, Sanibel and Beyond” coffee table book sales and auction went to benefit CROW.

Randy Bacik, CEO of Royal Shell Vacations stated “When Alan approached the companies of Royal Shell to be the official sponsor for his latest book, we could not have been more pleased. We are honored that Alan chose the Royal Shell Companies.”

In describing his art, Maltz says, “I seldom use filters to achieve effects; Instead, I follow the light.” His approach results in images that are translucent, engaging and reflective of the special qualities of his subjects.
