So what do you think Lisa Schuman and Corinne Batista would be doing on a Friday morning in mid June?? Tending their gardens or their chicken?? Maybe, but today the girls are extracting 50 lbs. of honey from one of their hives. Lisa and Corinne became beekeepers about a year ago after taking a course through UF.Corinne, who’s honey is being extracted today lives on Fort Myers Beach, Lisa has her hive on sanibel.
