If you are looking for a GREAT place to eat lunch on Sanibel, you got to experience Twilight Café. We just ate lunch there the other day and wanted to share our meal with you. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend spending an afternoon at Twilight Café, you’ll be very happy you did!

Captiva Restaurant, The Mucky Duck, Hosted The Trouble Starters for The Heights Foundation

Sunday was a great day at The Mucky Duck, on Captiva Island! The band, Trouble Starters, played live music for the crowd as delicious food and cool drinks were served to everyone there. Profits from the food and beverage sales went to The Heights Foundation. The Heights Foundation is a grassroots, hands-on organization that provides educational and life-changing opportunities for families in the Harlem Heights neighborhood of South Fort Myers. LAST CHANCE FOR A RAFFLE TICKET FOR GIFT CERTIFICATES TO SIXTEEN SANIBEL RESTAURANTS

ISLAND TEMPTATIONS, a winner-takes-all raffle of gift certificates to about SIXTEEN Island fine dining restaurants, is being offered to the public by the Sanibel-Captiva Optimist Club. Each restaurant is providing a generous gift certificate for their delicious meals, enough for two diners.  The majority of prizes will be good for a year with a few expiring at the end of this season. Restaurants participating so far include:  Sanibel Cafe, Lighthouse, Biddles Bucket, Schnapper’s Hots, Traders, Cheeburger, Over Easy Cafe, Doc Ford’s, McT’s, Beachview Steakhouse, Timbers, Matzaluna’s, Twilight Cafe, Great White Grill, Island Pizza and Pinocchio’s. The raffle will be held at Sanibel Grill (Timbers) on December 12th at 5 PM.  The winner does not have to be present. Tickets at $10 each are on sale at Baileys General Store, the Sanibel Café, and early evenings at the Sanibel Grill directly from an Optimist Club member. The proceeds from the raffle will help fund the Optimist Club’s support of local youth needs including:  child cancer care, Recreation Center Programs, college scholarships, etc.”

Mermaid Restaurant and Bar was a hit Friday night for Sanibel Entertainment and Sanibel Jazz. Seems to be the new “hotspot”. The boyz  Woody and Paul had the night filled with great music and Sanibel Entertainment. Great food, friends, and music. Sandy, Jenny, Melinda and Bridgit had a great girls night out! Andy, Brenda, McCallie and Staff at Biddles Bucket honored of all the customers who have supported them and welcomed them back to the Island this past year. Biddles Bucket was the place too be last night!
