Janice Ulrich

For the best Sanibel/Captiva Island Weddings go to Janice Ulrich at Sanibel Island Weddings!! Janice, like many other island locals, fell in love with the islands after years of vacationing! She has now been here on the island for 15 years where she spent most of her time in the food and beverage industry. Janice started off working at Sundial hostessing, serving, then finally bartending. As one of the top bartenders, Janice worked at both Beaches and Crocodiles for Sundial until she decided she was ready for a change.  It was at this time when Janice remembered that she was a certified officiate and figured it was time to start planning weddings! Not long after starting to plan weddings for friends, locals, and even her son, Janice couldn’t deny her passion for meeting new people and helping couples make their day the most perfect day.

Janice’s ideal wedding is island casual yet elegant. The reason for bringing families together is mainly the wedding, but when coordinating she wants to make sure everyone feels comfortable and enjoys their entire trip. Her favorite flowers to use are orchids and cala lilies, and loves white cake with a strawberry filling…YUMMY!!! When it comes to a destination, Janice recommends the West Wind Inn because “when you are a bride here, you’re IT” there are no other weddings and you are the center of attention. Believe it or not, Janice herself is getting married at the West Wind Inn this November!

Today was a great day for some fishing from the Sanibel fishing pier. With some great weather and a good tide there were plenty of fish to be caught.
